When you arrive, look for the Frogheath Nursery signs - Westhome B&B is on the site.

Westhome is in an ideal position for guests requiring to be based in the Burwash area and is well placed in East Sussex for people wishing to visit some of the best National Trust Properties, Pashley Manor Gardens, the Bluebell Railway and Lavender Line along with some of the great golf courses in the South East. Sarah Raven's Perch Hill Farm is just over a mile up the lane. There is easy access to Royal Tunbridge Wells, various coastal towns including Hastings and just over an hour by train to central London.

We live and work at Westhome and are able to enjoy some of the best views across the Weald of Sussex looking towards the Brightling Needle - a local landmark. More information about the local area can be found on the High Weald website. You can at your leisure head onto Willingford Lane and take a walk down to the river or into nearby woodland, where you are likely to catch sight of a deer, a fox or a kingfisher! The De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill, with its contemporary art gallery, auditorium and more, is also worth a visit, offering performances, events and exhibitions.

We are very fortunate to live just 200m from The Wheel Pub which is friendly and serves excellent food as well as good local beer. Such a benefit to have this on our doorstep. The walk home is very easy! Also within a few miles in Burwash are The Bear and the Rose & Crown, both fine country pubs that serve great food and local beer too. Pre booking is recommended at weekends, and we would be happy to arrange this for you.

Visit The Burwash Walks website for a range of local walks, graded easy, moderate and challenging. Each walk has a full route and description.
